Ollie’s Bargain Outlet Announces Newark Store Opening

Rochester, NY, October 14, 2026 —

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet has announced the grand opening of a new store in Newark, New York. The location is in the Arcadia Shopping Center, at the site of the former Herb Phillipson’s location. The opening is set for Wednesday, October 21.

The announcement identifies the shopping center and the former location but does not provide a street address or a year for the opening date. It also does not specify the store’s opening hours, whether any events are planned, or what products or services customers can expect at the Newark location.

Those details were not included in the information provided about the announcement. As a result, the date can be reported as stated, but the year and other opening arrangements remain unspecified. No information was provided about the store’s size, staffing, or the timeline for preparations at the site.

The new store’s location in the Arcadia Shopping Center places the announced opening at a site previously occupied by Herb Phillipson’s. The announcement does not provide further details about the former location or the transition to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet.

For now, the available information establishes the retailer, the Newark location, the shopping center, the former site and the announced opening date. Additional specifics—including the year associated with October 21—were not provided.
