Rochester, NY, November 4, 2026 — The SUNY Brockport Golden Eagles football team has achieved a remarkable 7-1 record to start its current season, a significant performance largely attributed to the synergy between its key offensive players.
At the heart of this success is the formidable connection between quarterback Zymier Jackson and running back Derrion Battle. This on-field chemistry is rooted in a long-standing relationship, as the two have been friends since childhood.
The team’s current standing of 7 wins and 1 loss highlights their strong performance, with Jackson and Battle’s coordinated efforts appearing to be a primary driving force. The nature of their “strong connection” was not further detailed in the provided summary, nor were specific statistics or game highlights illustrating this connection.
While the summary emphasizes the childhood friendship between Jackson and Battle as a foundation for their current on-field rapport, further details regarding specific plays, statistical contributions, or other contributing factors to the team’s winning streak were not available in the trend summary.
The Golden Eagles are continuing their season with this established partnership, aiming to build upon their early success.
