NEW YORK, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Sons of Cream comes to The Iridium in Times Square on Tuesday, September 29 and Wednesday, September 30, 2026, for two 8:30 p.m. performances celebrating the music and legacy of Cream. Featuring Kofi Baker, son of legendary Cream drummer Ginger Baker, and Malcolm Bruce, son of bassist and vocalist Jack Bruce, alongside guitarist Rob Johnson, the shows will bring the music of one of rock’s most influential bands to an intimate Times Square stage.
The two-night engagement will also give one guest the chance to take home a piece of the evening. Gibson is donating an Epiphone guitar to be awarded through a special Sons of Cream sweepstakes. Each ticket purchase will automatically include an entry, with a free alternate method of entry also available. One winner will be selected and announced live during the engagement. Kofi Baker and Malcolm Bruce share a musical history that reaches directly back to the British blues and rock movement of the 1960s. As the sons of Cream members Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce, respectively, the two musicians grew up with a personal connection to the music that helped define a generation.
Kofi Baker has spent his career as a drummer and performer carrying forward the musical influence of his father while establishing his own identity behind the kit. Malcolm Bruce is a musician, composer and songwriter whose work has similarly drawn from, and expanded beyond, the musical legacy of his father.
