“Adam wa Mishmish was created to connect our children to the Arabic language in a joyful, accessible and meaningful way,” said Hend Baghdady, CEO of Adam wa Mishmish. “This tour is an incredible opportunity to meet the families who have supported us online, introduce the brand to new communities and celebrate the richness of Arabic language and culture together, in person.”
A Decade of Building an Arabic-Language Entertainment Brand
Adam wa Mishmish began as a music-driven animated series created by parents who wanted the cultural representation they couldn’t find for their own family, at a time when few children’s entertainment properties centered Arab culture and the Arabic language. It has since grown into a global entertainment brand spanning digital content, original music, characters, toys and books, live experiences and television development.
The characters are named after the founders’ son, Adam, and their cat, Mishmish, grounding the series in genuine family experience and giving children stories and songs that feel authentically their own. Today, the brand reaches a community of more than one million households across the GCC, the wider Arab world and the global diaspora, and has been recognized with the UN ESCWA Digital Arabic Content Award (2025) and the King Abdullah II Order of Distinction (2025).
“There is an enormous community of Arabic-speaking families in America whose stories, languages and cultural experiences deserve to be represented in children’s entertainment,” said Luma Aladnani, Co-Founder and President of Adam wa Mishmish. “For ten years, families around the world have invited Adam wa Mishmish into their homes. This tour is our opportunity to walk into their communities and celebrate with them in person.”
A Partnership with HEAL Palestine
The tour will also include a partnership with HEAL Palestine, a non-political 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization founded in January 2024 that supports Palestinian children and families through health, education, aid and leadership programs in Gaza, the West Bank and Egypt. HEAL Palestine joins the tour as a community partner, with information tables at tour stops and complimentary tickets for children and families it supports. Any use of the HEAL Palestine name or logo is subject to HEAL Palestine’s prior written approval.
Pivotal Moment for Adam wa Mishmish
The U.S. tour comes at an important period of growth for Adam wa Mishmish. Over the next 18 months, the company expects to reach several major milestones, including its U.S. expansion, a planned Series A fundraising round and continued development of a narrative television series targeted for a late 2027 or early 2028 premiere. Together, these initiatives mark a new chapter for a brand that has spent a decade building its audience organically and establishing a distinctive place within the global Arabic-language entertainment landscape — and the tour is an important first step in bringing that world to new audiences.
